Soneri Bank Announces Closure Dates for TFC Holders’ Register Ahead of Profit Payment

Karachi, Soneri Bank Limited has announced the upcoming closure of its Register of Term Finance Certificate (TFC) Holders from June 13, 2024, to June 26, 2024, for the determination of the third profit payment. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the profit, payable semiannually on the outstanding principal amount of TFC-III, will be credited digitally to the bank accounts of the registered TFC holders as of the close of business on June 12, 2024.

Transfers must be received by the office of THK Associates (Pvt.) Limited, the bank’s Registrar and Share Transfer Agent, by the end of business on the cutoff date to qualify for this profit payment. The bank’s instrument rating remains at A+ with a stable outlook, as per the latest report from PACRA.

Furthermore, a notice regarding the book closure for redemption and profit payment will be published in both English and Urdu in the Business Recorder and Nawa-e-Waqt on May 21, 2024, fulfilling the regulatory requirements of the PSX Rule Book.
