Sui Southern Gas Company Limited’s extension for holding annual general meeting

Karachi, November 19, 2012 (PPI-OT): The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has despite the extended period not as yet passed the final determination with respect to the annual accounts of the Company for the FY 2011-12 so as to enable us to be able to place the accounts before the Board and the Shareholders for approval.

In view of the above, the Company has again requested the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan for further extension of 30 days (i.e. upto December 31, 2012) for holding the Annual General Meeting of the Company and laying of annual accounts of the Company for the year ended June 30, 2012 before the Shareholders of the Company for their approval.

The Company awaiting the response of the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan regarding further extension. Kindly note that as soon as the Company receives the confirmation from the SECP, the same shall be communicated to the Stock Exchanges immediately.
