Supreme Court admits the application of Mr. Aslam Ghumman, ASC

Islamabad, June 14, 2013 (PPI-OT): The Hon’ble Chief Justice of Pakistan has admitted the application of Mr. Aslam Ghumman, ASC for impalement as party in HRC NO. 17126-G/2013, 17891 and 13161-P/2013 (regarding arrest of the accused involved in the cases of torture and murder of the Advocates).

It is pertinent to mention that Mr. Aslam Ghumman, ASC in his aforesaid application filed under Order V Rule 2 (2) of the Supreme Court 1980 Rules has prayed that he may be impleaded as party in the above mentioned cases pending in the Supreme Court of Pakistan.

He has further stated that he has been receiving constant life threats through obnoxious SMS and personally through different persons. He has prayed that he may kindly be impleaded as party in the above said HRCs in the interest of justice.
