Switzerland Lauds Pakistan’s Efforts to Advance Peace

Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and Foreign Minister of Switzerland Ignazio Cassis have exchanged views on the regional situation. During a telephonic conversation today, they welcomed the encouraging progress toward an understanding between the United States and Iran.

According to Radio Pakistan, in his remarks, the Swiss Foreign Minister appreciated Pakistan’s leading mediating role in supporting diplomatic engagement and its efforts to advance peace and stability in the region and beyond. Both sides agreed to remain closely engaged on further developments.
