Tehreek-e-Wahdat concerned on BJP’s anti-Muslim policies

Srinagar, June 01, 2015 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the Tehreek-e-Wahdat-e-Islami, a constituent of the Hurriyet forum led by Syed Ali Gilani, has expressed serious concern over the anti-Muslim policies of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government in India. The Tehreek-e-Wahdat-e-Islami spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar said that since the BJP had come into power in India, it had been planning against those Muslims who had exposed its nefarious designs against Muslims.

He said that the Indian government was promoting the RSS agenda, adding that in Jammu the Muslims were being displaced in the name of forest lands and the non-Kashmiris were being settled in the territory. The spokesman said that similarly, efforts were being made to accommodate Kashmiri Pandits in separate colonies. He said that the purpose of all such steps was to change the Muslim majority status into minority in occupied Kashmir
