Karachi, January 25, 2019 (PPI-OT): Thai Counsel General Thatree Chauvachata and Deputy Counsel General Apipan Cheecharoen met with Director General KDA, Mr. Samiuddin Siddiqui here in Civic Center. During meeting member Administration Abdul Qadeer Mangi, Secretary KDA Taufeeq Ahmed Soomro, Chief Engineer Ram Chand, Director Traffic Engineering Bureau Naveed Izhar, Director Land Asif Ali Memon, media coordinator Akram Sattar and other officer were also present there.
On that occasion Thai Counsel General Thatree Chauvachata said that KDA has successfully completed residential schemes and public parks while it becomes a feature of beauty in city. He praised KDA steps and said that development infrastructure of city is alike a modern city of world.
During meeting Director General Mr. Samiuddin Siddiqui said that KDA established in 1957 according to Master Plan which aims was to provide residential schemes to low income citizens including North Nazim Abad (Taimuria), Khudad Colony, Chandni Chowk, Kahakashan scheme, Korangi Town, Malir Town, 24 Scheme Gulshan Iqbal, Nazim Abad scheme and others. “Along with residential schemes KDA has always played an important role to provide healthy environment to plant a millions of sapling across city” He added that. Later on Director General Mr. Samiuddin Siddiqui presented cultural token of Ajark/Topi and Shield to Thai Counsel General and Deputy Counsel General.
