Karachi, June 11, 2012 (PPI-OT): We would like to inform that the following gentlemen were elected Directors in the Extra-Ordinary General Meeting (EOGM) of the shareholders of the Bank held on Thursday, May 31, 2012.
1. Mr. Maqsood Ismail Ahmed
2. Mr. Asad Muhammad Iqbal
3. Mr. Javed Akhter
Since appointment of Directors in Banks require prior clearance of the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) under “Fit and Proper Test” criteria, therefore, they will assume office of Director upon receipt of clearance from SBP.
We shall inform the Exchange accordingly regarding appointment of Directors as soon as clearance is received from SBP.
