Islamabad, March 11, 2023 (PPI-OT): The Executive Director COMSATS, Ambassador Dr. Mohammad Nafees Zakaria, called on the Sri Lankan High Commissioner, H.E. Vice Admiral Mohan Wijewickram at his office on March 9, 2023. The High Commissioner congratulated Ambassador Zakaria on his appointment as Executive Director of COMSATS.
Expressing his gratitude, the Executive Director COMSATS briefed the High Commissioner on the ongoing programs of COMSATS as well as summed up the new initiatives proposed in the Coordinating Council of COMSATS during its recent meeting at Karachi, Pakistan.
The High Commissioner reaffirmed his support towards enhancing cooperation among the Member States of COMSATS. He also proposed Executive Director a working visit to Sri Lanka in the near future to strengthen relations with Focal Point and Centre of Excellence. He wished Ambassador Zakaria a successful tenure as the Executive Director of COMSATS.
