Those who sacrificed their lives for security of the country are source of inspiration: Major Gen Obaidullah Khan

Rawalpindi, November 06, 2012 (PPI-OT): IGFC Major General Obaidullah Khan said that the live nations never forget the sacrifices rendered by their martyrs and take these sacrifices as a guide line for security and safety of the country. He was addressing a ceremony held in the honour of the families of martyrs from FC Balochistan at Kohat. The ceremony was attended by families of around 400 Martyrs / injured personnel of FC Balochistan.

Major General Obaidullah Khan said that the ceremony in honour of Martyrs further strengthens our resolve. We shall always protect the honour, dignity and sovereignty earned due to the sacrifices by our great Martyrs and shall not let anyone to harm Pakistan.

IG FC Baluchistan said due to new developments at international and national levels, we are facing internal and external dangers and anti-state elements are active to destabilize our country.

Efforts are also underway to eliminate extremism and sectarianism in the country. In the prevailing circumstances, the spirit of patriotism and devotion to duty exhibited by the Jawans of Pak Army are a source of pride for the whole nation, the IG said.

While speaking to the families of Martyrs, he said that they should not feel themselves alone as FC Balochistan and people of Pakistan owe them and we all are knitted in a relationship.

Major General Obaidullah Khan further said that the blood of Martyrs shall not go in vain and their dreams and ambitions shall be fulfilled and pledged that peace and prosperity shall definitely return to Balochistan.

At this occasion cheques were also distributed to the families of Martyrs.
