To resolve problems of employees of Health Department and to keep administrative matters on right track is his top priority: Sindh Health Minister

Karachi, April 27, 2016 (PPI-OT):Provincial Minister Health Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar has said to resolve the problems of the employees of Health Department and to keep administrative matters on right track is his top priority. This he said while presiding over a meeting in his Sindh Assembly office. He directed Secretary Health to post Additional Secretary Development and doctors ,who had been promoted to next grades, be given posting at earliest and ensure these transfers and postings be made on merit and under the directives of supreme court as well.

He added ‘ Delay in assigning officers on concerned posts is not only causing problems in disposing off administrative matters but development schemes are also affected ‘. Meanwhile the Provincial Health Minister, while expressing his displeasure over shortage of various vaccines, directed secretary health to ensure supply of vaccines against fatal diseases such as measles and hepatitis-B. In the meeting four long absent doctors Mukkaram Meraj, Junaid Ahmed, Abdul Jokhio and Abid Ali were given final show cause notices and if they fail to comply with the orders they will be dismissed from their services.
