Major Initiative Launched to Expand Electric Vehicle Infrastructure in Pakistan

Islamabad, In a significant move to boost the electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure in Pakistan, Hashoo Group in collaboration with Dewan Motors Private Limited announced the launch of a major initiative. This partnership focuses on the phased installation of EV chargers across Hashoo Group’s widespread network of hotels and resorts, marking a pivotal step toward enhancing the country’s eco-friendly transportation options.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the chargers will be compatible with European standard vehicles, catering to a broad spectrum of electric vehicles. This initiative is part of a broader effort led by the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC), which has been instrumental in fostering projects that reduce the carbon footprint in Pakistan. The council’s support for such initiatives underscores the national commitment to sustainable development and environmental conservation.
