Srinagar: In a grim development, the body of a nine-year-old boy, missing since late August, was found in an orchard in the Tral area of Pulwama district, Indian-administered Jammu and Kashmir.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the deceased was identified as Idrees Jan Bajad, who had vanished from Gujar Basti, Saimoh in Tral on August 25. His semi-decomposed body was discovered in a nearby forest, leading to a police investigation. Authorities have taken custody of the body, with a forensic team set to determine the cause of death.
