UN in Pakistan to Celebrate UN Day with Media Briefing in Islamabad

Islamabad: The United Nations Resident and Humanitarian Coordinator, Mr. Mohamed Yahya, alongside Heads of UN agencies in Pakistan, is set to host a media briefing to commemorate UN Day, which is observed globally on 24th October. The event, scheduled for 23rd October, 2024, at the ILO Auditorium in Islamabad, will highlight the UN’s seven decades of programs and initiatives in the country and preview an upcoming event at the PNCA.

According to United Nations Pakistan, the briefing will take place at noon in the ILO Building, located in Sector G-5/2 near the State Bank of Pakistan. This gathering aims to provide insights into the significant impacts of various UN efforts in Pakistan and discuss future plans. Following the presentation, there will be a question and answer session, and attendees will be offered refreshments.
