Under-Training ASPs Visit Central Police Office in Islamabad for Special Lecture and Tour

Islamabad: A delegation of Assistant Superintendents of Police (ASPs), currently training at the National Police Academy, recently visited the Central Police Office (CPO) in Islamabad. The visit included a series of briefings and a tour of the facilities, aimed at enriching their training experience with practical insights into the functioning of the Islamabad Police.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, addressed the ASPs with a special lecture focused on the importance of community policing and maintaining law and order to foster a positive society. The trainees received first-hand knowledge about the operations, security measures, and various other functions critical to the police force.

The visit also included a comprehensive tour of the police lines where the delegation explored several key areas such as the quarter guard, roznamcha (daily log), armory, various storage facilities, uniform store, and a firing range. This exposure is part of their training program designed to provide a holistic understanding of the day-to-day challenges and responsibilities faced by the police force.
