Representative of the United Nations High Commission for Refugees Philippa Candler called on Federal Secretary for Interior Aftab Akbar Durrani in Islamabad today.
She appreciated Pakistan’s efforts for facilitating illegal immigrants while leaving Pakistan.
Discussing the issues of mutual interest, the UNHCR representative said Pakistan had hosted refugees for decades and recent operation is being conducted against foreigners residing illegally in Pakistan.
