UNWTO declares Pakistan as best country for tourism during previous year 2023

The United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) has declared Pakistan as the best country for tourism during the previous year 2023.

According to Spokesperson of the Ministry of Interior, this was stated by Secretary Interior while meeting a delegation of Pakistan Association of Tour Operators, which called on him in Islamabad today.

The delegation apprised the Secretary Interior about their problems and also presented suggestions for tourism development.

The Secretary said promotion of tourism is among the top priorities of the government. He also assured the delegation for resolution of its issues.

It was agreed in the meeting to make the process of issuance of tourist visa easier and faster.
