WAPDA Chairman Directs for Timely Completion of Diamer-Bhasha, Dasu Projects

Islamabad: Water and Power Development Authority chairman Muhammad Saeed has visited the under-construction Diamer-Basha Dam and Dasu Hydropower Project to review the construction progress on these projects.

According to Radio Pakistan, the chairman was briefed by the authorities about the progress made so far on both projects. He instructed the General Managers, Consultants, and Contractors involved to strictly adhere to the implementation plans and accelerate construction work to ensure the projects are completed as per their schedules.

Later, during a meeting with local notables, the chairman reviewed the progress on Confidence-Building Measures (CBMs) aimed at uplifting the communities in the project area.
