Lahore: This was stated by Inspector General of Police, Punjab, Muhammad Habib-ur-Rehman while addressing to the Police Darbar and meet the press programme held at Police Line, Rahim Yar Khan today. DPO, Rahim Yar Khan and all Police Officers/Officials were present on this occasion.

IGP stressed upon the officers that they should made the police stations as Dar-ul-Mohabat instead of Dar-ul-Dehshat by stopping all barriers in providing free and fair justice to innocent people. He also stressed upon the officers to keep on following the campaign for identification of no go areas and its elimination.

While talking to media representatives, IGP told that hardened criminal Ismail Imrani who died during a police encounter was involved in 48 serious cases.

While answering to the quarries of media representatives, IGP said that he made CIA as a functional and pro-active department throughout the province. He said that a CIA Police Station has been setup in Rahim Yar Khan in this behalf. While talking on the role of CIA, IGP said that for tracing and nabbing the proclaimed offenders and hardened criminals, only CIA can play a very effective role concluded the IGP.

IGP expressed his satisfaction over the performance of DPO, Rahim Yar Khan, Sohail Zafar Chattah.

Later, IGP laid a floral wreath and offered fateha at martyrs monument.
