Report Claims India Targets Kashmiri Hurriyat Leaders Over Political Beliefs

Islamabad, A new report from Kashmir Media Service today claims that India is targeting Kashmiri Hurriyat leaders and activists, detaining them illegally due to their opposition to Indian rule in Jammu and Kashmir. The report alleges that these detentions are part of a broader strategy to suppress the region’s push for autonomy.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the Indian government, under Prime Minister Modi’s regime, is persecuting these leaders through the use of draconian laws, fabricating charges to justify their imprisonment. The report criticizes the treatment of these political prisoners, describing it as a campaign of vengeance aimed at crushing the Kashmiri freedom struggle. It highlights the harsh conditions under which these leaders are held and the psychological and physical pressures they face.

The report further mentions that despite these oppressive measures, the morale among the people in the occupied territory remains high, and they are determined to continue their struggle for independence from India until it reaches a conclusive end.
