Work on D.I Khan International Airport Underway in Phased Manner: KP Governor

Peshawar: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi says construction work of Dera Ismail Khan International Airport is underway in a phased manner. Talking to PPP leader Zafar Ali Khan Gandapur in Peshawar today, he said the project will boost economic activities throughout the southern districts of the province.

According to Radio Pakistan, the development of the airport is expected to bring significant economic benefits to the region by enhancing connectivity and facilitating trade and travel. Governor Kundi emphasized the strategic importance of the project in promoting regional development and integration.

The phased construction approach is aimed at ensuring efficient progress and resource management. The governor expressed optimism about the project’s impact on local employment and business opportunities, contributing to the overall economic uplift of the area.
