World Bank approves $12b to help developing countries get Covid vaccines

The World Bank has approved twelve billion dollars in funding for developing countries to buy and distribute coronavirus vaccines, corona tests and treatment.

Head of the World Bank David Malpass in a statement said the financing will support vaccination of upto one billion people. He said it is part of an overall World Bank package of upto 160 billion dollars to fight the COVID-19 pandemic.
