Yasin Malik hailed on completing one year of life sentence in jail

Muzaffarabad, May 25, 2023 (PPI-OT): The Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) has hailed the services of illegally detained party Chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik for the Kashmir cause on the completion of his one year of unjust life sentence by India’s pliant judiciary. JKLF spokesman Muhammad Rafiq Dar in a statement described Muhammad Yasin Malik as a symbol of perseverance, and a pride for his bravery and sacrifices he rendered for the Kashmiri people, so for.

He said, the ongoing Indian sponsored state oppression in IIOJK has reached its peak and that the pride of India will certainly reduce to dust no sooner the dark night of oppression ends. Condemning the life imprisonment sentenced by Indian special court on the dictates of Indian government against the popular leader of the people of Jammu Kashmir, Muhammad Yasin Malik, the spokesman said that India with aggressive policies is not going to achieve anything with the use of her military might against the Kashmiri people.

In order to pay homage to Muhammad Yasin Malik, a protest demonstration, against unfairly sentencing him to life imprisonment last year, was organized by the Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front outside the central press club in Muzaffarabad, today. The protest was led by party’s vice chairman Khawaja Saifudin. Many JKLF leaders and workers participated in the protest.

According to the statement, a high-level delegation of the JKLF held a detailed meeting with Ms. Maria Arina, the head of the European Parliamentary Human Rights Committee in Brussels, Belgium, in which the delegation explained the political and historical background of the Kashmir to the European rights defenders.
