Ziarat District Health Committee Mandates Strict Measures to Improve Hospital Services

Ziarat: The District Health Committee meeting in Ziarat, chaired by Deputy Commissioner Liaqat Ali Kakar, addressed significant health service issues, including absenteeism among healthcare staff and the need for improved sanitation at local hospitals.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, Deputy Commissioner Kakar instructed health department administrators to enforce strict penalties on absent doctors and paramedical staff, including salary deductions and mandatory appearances. He emphasized the critical nature of the health department and assured that all necessary steps would be taken to enhance its functionality. The meeting also highlighted the importance of timely treatment and discharge of patients, especially those traveling from distant areas, underscoring the commitment to better care for the vulnerable populations.

These directives reflect the local government’s dedication to improving healthcare services and ensuring that facilities are adequately staffed and maintained.
