1218 people rescued, 4,972 shifted to safer places from flood-affected areas: PDMA

Provincial Disaster Management Authority Punjab says 1218 people have so far been rescued and 4,972 people shifted to safer places from flood-affected areas along Sutlej river in Kasur district.

In a statement on Thursday the Director General PDMA Imran Qureshi said district administration has been provided all necessary machinery, equipment and other equipment.
