257,668 drought affected families provided free wheat in 4th phase: Deputy Commissioner Tharparkar

Karachi, December 19, 2014 (PPI-OT): Deputy Commissioner Tharparkar Muhammad Asif Jamal has said that free wheat in 4th Phase is being provided to drought affectees and till date 257,668 families has been provided free wheat adding that district administration has distributed wheat to the highest number of families as compared to the first three phases.

He was talking to media men at his office. He further informed that Blankets, Dates, Mosquito nets are also being continuously provided to most vulnerable sections of Tharparkar including pregnant, lactating women and mal nourished children.

Deputy Commissioner Tharparkar said that the 5th phase of free wheat distribution will be started in next few days for which mukhtiarkars have already been directed t o submit wheat distribution schedule to him.
