Raipur, An accident in the Bastar district of Chhattisgarh state, India, resulted in injuries to 11 Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel and their driver, all of whom were en route to election duty for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the incident occurred when the ambulance transporting the members of the 188 battalion from Jagdalpur to Kondagaon lost control and overturned in Ratanga of the Lohandiguda block. The specifics of how the accident happened were not immediately clear, but the vehicle was part of a deployment aimed at reinforcing security for the electoral process in Bastar, a region known for Naxalite activities.
