Activist Begins Hunger Strike for Free Education for Poor Muslim Students in Maharashtra

Aurangabad: Mujeeb Khan, president of the Amit Pratishthan Foundation, has initiated a hunger strike at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar University in Maharashtra, advocating for free educational opportunities for economically disadvantaged Muslim students.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Khan’s protest is aimed at addressing the educational inequities affecting Muslim communities. He has formally petitioned the state’s chief minister and deputy chief minister, seeking governmental intervention to support the educational needs of these students.

Khan remains hopeful for a favorable response from the state authorities as he continues his hunger strike, drawing attention to a critical social issue in the region.
