Ahsan Iqbal Announces New Teachers Training Center in Islamabad

Islamabad: Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal has announced the establishment of a state-of-the-art Teachers Training Center in Islamabad, aimed at enhancing the quality of education. The center, described as poised to be the best in South Asia, will focus on fostering innovation and creativity rather than memorization-based learning.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Minister Iqbal emphasized the centrality of innovation in modern education during his address at a function in Islamabad. He highlighted that no country has achieved development and prosperity without attaining at least a 90 percent literacy rate, drawing on global examples to underline his point.
