AJK Legislative Assembly Convenes Special Session on Youm-e-Istehsal

Muzaffarabad: Today, the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly (AJKLA) is holding a special session to mark Youm-e-Istehsal, reflecting on the significant political developments and ongoing tensions in the region since August 5, 2019.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the session has been called to discuss the implications of the actions taken by the Indian government five years ago, which revoked the special status of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK). The assembly aims to reaffirm its commitment to the Kashmiri people and address the current challenges facing the region.
