All Pakistan Clerks Association and Punjab Teachers Union call of their Strike

Islamabad: The All Pakistan Clerks Association and Punjab Teachers Union have called off their strike after having a detailed meeting with the Federal Secretary Finance, Dr. Waqar Masood. The Secretary Finance has assured the representatives of APCA and Punjab Teachers Association that the financial difficulties of government employees shall be given priority in the next coming Budget 2011-12. After this assurance they have decided to call off their strike. The Secretary Finance in the meeting was assisted by Additional Secretaries Budget Mr. Rana Assad Amin and Regulation Human Resource Management, Mr. Manzoor Ali Khan, and APCA and PTU were represented by Nazar Hussain Korai and Syed Sajjad Akhtar Kazmi, respectively.
