Canadian Firms Eye $50 Million Investment in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Mineral Sector

Peshawar, Representatives from Canadian companies Titan Copper and Pana Copper met with Abdul Karim Tordhir, the Special Assistant to the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for Industry, Trade, and Technical Education, to discuss a potential $50 million investment in the province’s mineral sector. This meeting took place at the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Board of Investment and Trade Office in Peshawar.

According to Directorate General Information and PRs – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Nabil Sadiq, the Country Chief Executive Officer of the Canadian firms, outlined the investment plans and addressed challenges related to obtaining mineral leases. Special Assistant Tordhir instructed the Board of Investment officials to assist the Canadian investors in navigating the local investment climate and adopting best global mining practices. He emphasized the provincial government’s commitment to simplifying investment procedures and expressed enthusiasm for the potential economic benefits of Canadian investment in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
