Amarnath Pilgrim Succumbs to Cardiac Arrest in Jammu and Kashmir

Srinagar: A 48-year-old pilgrim from Maharashtra, India, tragically died of cardiac arrest near the Amarnath cave in Jammu and Kashmir today.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the deceased, identified as Sandeep Utaker, suffered a heart attack while visiting the holy site. He collapsed and was quickly transported to a nearby medical camp, where attending doctors pronounced him dead.

His body has since been transferred to the Base Camp Hospital in Baltal for further procedures. Authorities are continuing their investigation into the incident.
