Hyderabad, Ansari Sugar Mills Limited will hold its 33rd Annual General Meeting (AGM) at its registered office in Deh Jagsiyani, Taulka Tando Ghulam Hayder, District Tando Muhammad Khan, Hyderabad, Sindh on Tuesday, July 02, 2024. The agenda includes the confirmation of the minutes from the last AGM held on April 30, 2024, and the adoption of the audited financial statements for the year ended September 30, 2022.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the meeting will also cover the appointment of auditors and their remuneration for the year ended September 30, 2023, and the authorization to sell molasses to Pak Ethanol (Pvt) Limited at an agreed price. The company has announced the closure of its Share Transfer Books from June 26, 2024, to July 02, 2024, to facilitate the process.
Members who have not yet provided copies of their CNICs are urged to do so at the earliest to comply with directives from the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP). Furthermore, shareholders are advised to convert their physical shares into book-entry form in line with SECP’s requirements to facilitate better management and trading of shares.
