Approval of Rs7.3b as wheat subsidy for GB will eliminate crisis situation: Amir Muqam

Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan Amir Muqam has said that the approval of 7.3 billion rupees as a wheat subsidy for the people of Gilgit-Baltistan by Economic Coordination Committee will eliminate crisis situation regarding wheat subsidy in the region.

In a statement, he said prosperity of Gilgit-Baltistan is actually the prosperity of Pakistan and with the government’s initiatives in the fields of CPEC and tourism, Gilgit-Baltistan will play a key role in the economic development of Pakistan.
