Asta Mohammad Prepares for Chehlum with Enhanced Security and Public Services

Asta Mohammad: Under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner Jalil Ahmed, Asta Mohammad is ramping up security and public service arrangements for the Chehlum of Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S.) to ensure the processions transpire smoothly and peacefully along traditional routes.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, Deputy Commissioner Ahmed confirmed in a meeting with scholars and district officers that all Chehlum processions would adhere to their established schedules, with no alterations planned. Comprehensive security measures have been put in place by police and law enforcement to foster a safe environment for the observances. In addition to security, the administration has mandated thorough cleaning of procession routes and emergency preparedness in civil hospitals, with medical staff positioned along the routes and accompanying the mourning processions. The local power and public health engineering departments have also been tasked to ensure uninterrupted electricity and drinking water supply during the event, reflecting a holistic approach to managing public safety and comfort during significant religious observances.
