At UN, Pakistan calls for women’s further empowerment

Islamabad, June 24, 2023 (PPI-OT):At the United Nations, Pakistan has called for women’s further empowerment ensuring that they are fully integrated into global decision-making. Addressing a high-level forum celebrating “International Day of Women in Diplomacy”, Deputy Permanent representative of Pakistan to the United Nations Ambassador Aamir Khan said women have the ability to foster dialogue, resolve conflicts and provide long-term solutions in peace building, conflict resolution and humanitarian efforts.

He urged need to strengthen international cooperation and intensify gender perspective in scientific advancement and sustainable development.
