Balochistan Announces Major Bureaucratic Reshuffle

Quetta, In a significant administrative overhaul, the Government of Balochistan has announced new appointments and transfers among its top bureaucrats, aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of public service delivery. The reshuffle affects several key departments including Revenue, Health, Sports, and Youth Affairs, as well as Planning and Development.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, Kimber Dashti, previously Secretary of the C and W Department, has been promoted to Senior Member of the Board of Revenue, Balochistan (SMBR). Lal Jan Jaffer, formerly Secretary for Planning and Development, will replace Dashti as the new Secretary of C and W. Additionally, Secretary Health Abdullah Khan has been reassigned as Secretary of Sports and Youth Affairs. In a related move, Saleh Muhammad Baloch, who had been awaiting an appointment, will take over as Secretary of the Health Department.

These strategic changes come with the prior approval of the competent authority, reflecting a focused attempt by the provincial government to streamline operations and enhance the coordination among different departments to better address the needs of the public.
