Balochistan Chief Minister Approves Key Health Initiatives at Cardiology Institute

Quetta: The Sheikh Muhammad Bin Ziad Al Nahyan Institute of Cardiology held its third governing body meeting chaired by Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti, where significant administrative and developmental decisions were made, including the construction of new pediatric wards and the initiation of a special bus service for hospital access.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the meeting saw the approval of several key projects aimed at enhancing the healthcare services provided by the institution. The Chief Minister sanctioned the solarization of the hospital and the construction of modern pediatric wards to advance medical care for children. He also greenlit the start of a special bus service from the city to the hospital, facilitating easier access for patients and visitors.

Chief Minister Bugti expressed satisfaction with the institute’s performance and reaffirmed the provincial government’s commitment to expanding healthcare services to assist the economically disadvantaged. He underscored the importance of integrating health services into Balochistan’s mandatory service sectors to ensure consistent and quality medical facilities across the province.

Further directives were issued for the hospital administration to develop long-term strategic projects that align with a 15-30 year plan, aiming to benefit a broader segment of the population. Following the meeting, Chief Minister Bugti visited the hospital’s patients, distributing gifts and offering personal encouragement to the children receiving treatment.
