Hub, Baluchistan Glass Limited has officially started commercial operations at its newly established glass production facility in Hub, Baluchistan. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the company disclosed this development through a formal notification in compliance with Sections 96 and 131 of the Securities Act, 2015, and the rules of the Pakistan Stock Exchange.
The new facility boasts a daily production capacity of 110 metric tons of glass. This follows the successful ignition of the plant’s furnace on May 15, 2024, which was part of the initial heat-up process necessary for commencing production. The notification highlighted that the plant had reached a state where it was ready to start commercial operations as of June 04, 2024.
Baluchistan Glass had previously informed stakeholders about the progress of the furnace heat-up through a letter dated May 15, 2024. The company also provided a disclosure form as required under S.R.O. 1431(1)/2012 and Sections 96 & 131 of the Securities Act, 2015, pertaining to the said information. This recent move is aimed at enhancing the company’s production capabilities and fulfilling the requirements of its TRE certificate holders.
