BankIslami Pakistan Announces Dividend Increase for 2023

Karachi, BankIslami Pakistan Ltd. (BIPL), a key institution in the Islamic banking sector, has announced its financial results for the year 2023, indicating a positive trajectory in dividend payouts. The bank reported a daily weighted average price of Rs. 23.47, with a paidup capital of Rs. 11,087.03 million. Moving forward with its growth strategy, BankIslami declared a 27.5% dividend, up from 10% in the previous year. The bank’s shares saw a price range of Rs. 27.12 to Rs. 21.01, achieving a turnover of 96,050,451 shares in the initial months of 2024.
