BankIslami Pakistan Announces Dividend Increase for 2023

Karachi, BankIslami Pakistan Ltd. (BIPL), a key institution in the Islamic banking sector, has announced its financial results for the year 2023, indicating a positive trajectory in dividend payouts. The bank reported a daily weighted average price of Rs. 23.47, with a paidup capital of Rs. 11,087.03 million. Moving forward with its growth strategy, BankIslami declared a 27.5% dividend, up from 10% in the previous year. The bank’s shares saw a price range of Rs. 27.12 to Rs. 21.01, achieving a turnover of 96,050,451 shares in the initial months of 2024. Since its listing in 2006, BankIslami has been committed to providing value to its stakeholders and expanding its footprint in the Islamic finance industry.
