Bill of NIBD approved as a degree awarding Institute by Sindh Assembly

Karachi, February 17, 2014 (PPI-OT): A bill of “NIBD Post Graduate Institute of Life Sciences bill 2014”, was approved unanimously by a members of Sindh Assembly that authorized NIBD a degree awarding Institute. Bill presented by sikander Mandrio, the Provincial Minister of Law and Parliamentary Affair.

HE said that NIBD is a respectable name in private sector who is providing slandered health services to the community. As the token of appreciation of its services, the government have decided to delegate degree awarding status to NIBD. Now the institute has can provide trainings of Science and Management for Graduates and Post Graduates.

Mr. Sikander Shoro. The Member Sindh Assembly acknowledged this approval and said that the institute is serving the whole province on large scale. More than 500 Bone marrow Tansplant Procedures were done since 2008. Dr. Seema Zia, PTI member of Sindh Assembly, and Mr. Irfan Marwat, Muslim League (N) member of Sindh Assembly, appreciated the services of NIBD and said that the approval is a positive step forward.

Meanwhile Dr, Tahir Sultan Shamsi (Director) and Dr. Saqib Hussain Ansari ( Renowen Hematologist) gave a welcome gestures for the approval of bill of NIBD Post Graduate Institute of Life Sciences 2014 by Members of Sindh Assebly and especially commended Mr. Sikander Mandrio for forwarding and supporting this Bill to be approved.
