Bomb Threats Target Delhi Hospitals, Airport, and Railways

New Delhi, A series of bomb threats were sent to twenty hospitals, the Indira Gandhi International Airport, and the Northern Railways’ CPRO office in New Delhi, marking a severe escalation in security threats within the capital. This comes shortly after a similar scare involving over 150 schools in the Delhi-NCR region.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the threats, which originated from a Europe-based email service, prompted an immediate response from Delhi Police and security teams. Despite intensive searches and heightened security measures across affected locations, no explosive devices have been found. The email sender, identified as “courtgroup03@beeble.com,” claimed that explosives were placed within these buildings and would detonate imminently unless disarmed. Delhi Police are investigating the threat, which they believe was sent using a VPN to hide the sender’s location, and are considering legal action.

The security operations at the airport were notably intensified, with a comprehensive review of safety protocols initiated following the receipt of the threat. Similar precautions were taken at the hospitals, where ongoing checks continued into the late hours to ensure the safety of patients and staff. The recent spate of threats has alarmed the city’s authorities and residents, prompting a city-wide review of security measures and emergency response protocols.
