British Kashmiris to march for ‘free Kashmir’ in London

London, October 20, 2019 (PPI-OT): A large-scale protest march will be held outside the Indian High Commission in London on October 27, the day which Kashmiri people observe as Black Day every year. Thousands of British Kashmiris, their friends and sympathizers will take part in the ‘Free Kashmir’ march.

It was on October 27 in 1947 when Indian troops had invaded Jammu and Kashmir and occupied it in total disregard to the Partition Plan of the Subcontinent and against the Kashmiris’ aspirations. The protestors will gather at Downing Street and march to the Indian High Commission building in Aldwych. President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Sardar Masood Khan and Prime Minister, Raja Muhammad Farooq Haider Khan will also participate in the march.
