Jaisalmer, A Border Security Force (BSF) constable, Mukanda Deka, aged 57, tragically ended his life by hanging himself at his post in Rajasthan.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Deka was stationed at the Tanot Babliyanwala border outpost in Jaisalmer, where he worked as a generator operator. He had recently returned to duty after a period of holidays and hailed from Assam. The incident has highlighted ongoing concerns regarding the mental health and well-being of security personnel stationed in remote and high-pressure environments.
