BSF Troops Fatally Shoot Civilian in Samba, Jammu

Jammu, A 26-year-old civilian was fatally shot by personnel of the Indian Border Security Force (BSF) in the Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the shooting occurred late Friday night near the Regal Border Post along the Working Boundary. The man, identified as Vasudeva from the Akhnoor area of Jammu district, was employed as a cook with a construction company active in the border region. Reports from his colleagues indicate that he was shot in the chest while stepping out of his tent.

The incident has raised concerns about the safety of civilians in border areas and the conduct of security forces stationed there.
