Caretaker Govt to fully assist ECP in conducting free, fair polls: Info Minister

Caretaker Minister for Information and Broadcasting Murtaza Solangi says the caretaker government will fully assist the Election Commission of Pakistan in conducting free, fair, impartial and transparent elections in the country.

Talking to media persons in Islamabad on Thursday, he said we also endorse the decision, and viewpoint of the Election Commission.

Murtaza Solangi said under the Article 51 of the Constitution, the Election Commission is bound to make new constituencies and for this purpose schedule has been issued.

He said we are trying hard for economic improvement and in this regard the caretaker finance minister would present the economic recovery program in a few days.

The Minister said it is our prime responsibility to hand over the country to the elected representatives in a better condition.
