Islamabad: This morning, a vehicle belonging to the U.S. Consulate in Peshawar was hit by an improvised explosive device. The explosion damaged the vehicle, but no U.S. personnel were seriously injured. According to media reports, at least one person was killed and bystanders were injured. Islamabad: Mr. Pisanu Chanvitan, Deputy Permanent Secretary, received a donation of 100,554.65 Baht from Mrs. Uraiwan Maneechote, Senior Executive Vice President of the Islamic Bank of Thailand, to assist Pakistanis who had been suffering from devastating floods since August 2010.
