Chaman Holds Open Court to Address Civic Issues, Weather Warnings Issued for Balochistan

Chaman: An open court session, led by Deputy Commissioner Captain (R) Raja Athar Abbas, was held at the Boys Degree College Chaman sports complex to address local concerns, ranging from civic services to upcoming weather challenges. The session provided a platform for citizens to voice issues directly to departmental officers, leading to immediate district-level resolutions.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the Deputy Commissioner emphasized the responsibility of government officers to act as public servants and address the problems of citizens effectively. This event is part of a broader initiative to enhance public service and responsiveness in government operations. The open court saw participation from various departments addressing issues related to NADRA, electricity, health, and education, demonstrating a coordinated effort to tackle public grievances promptly.

Furthermore, the region is bracing for potential adverse weather, with forecasts predicting rain accompanied by wind and thunder in several districts including Awaran, Lasbela, Hub, Washik, Khuzdar, Kalat, Dera Bugti, and Sabi. The weather conditions are expected to remain very humid and partly cloudy across most of the province. Recent rainfall has varied significantly across different areas, with the highest temperatures recorded in Sabi at 47°C. Authorities have issued warnings for potential landslides and flooding, urging all relevant departments to remain vigilant during this period.
