China stands ready to work with Pakistan to carry forward traditional friendship: Wang Wenbin

China says it attaches high importance to its relations with Pakistan and stands ready to jointly work to carry forward cooperation between the two countries.

This was stated by Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson, Wang Wenbin, at his regular briefing in Beijing today.

He congratulated Asif Ali Zardari on taking oath as President of Pakistan.
