Chinese Delegation Explores Investment in Islamabad Theme Park and Solar Projects

Islamabad: A meeting between the Capital Development Authority (CDA) and a visiting Chinese delegation has opened potential avenues for significant foreign investment in Islamabad, with a particular focus on developing a theme park and solarizing government buildings.

According to Capital Development Authority, the session was led by CDA Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa and was attended by key officials who discussed various investment opportunities within the city. The Chinese delegation showed a strong interest in the ongoing and upcoming projects, particularly the proposal to transition CDA office buildings to solar energy. Randhawa expressed enthusiasm for the delegation’s interest and reassured them of CDA’s commitment to fostering international investments, especially from China, aimed at modernizing Islamabad’s infrastructure.

The discussions also touched on other significant projects, including the development of a Silicon Valley and a Four Tier Data Center, indicating a broad scope of collaboration. Randhawa commended the proactive investment stance from China and outlined steps for a feasibility study on the solarization project.
